While spiderlifts can climb a steep slope, the angle of approach and the angle of departure is very shallow, since there is a considerable amount of lift overhang in the front and rear of the lift chassis, a very low bed trailer is needed . Normal tilt bed equipment trailers are at least 20" to 24" inches high, with some trailers as much as 28"to 30" high.
